FSS Requirements

The requirements to participate in RHA’s Family Self-Sufficiency program include:

    • Obtaining a referral from your Public Housing or Section 8 Housing Specialist
    • Attending the mandatory orientation to learn more about the FSS program
    • Meeting with your Resident Services Case Manager for intake interview 
    • Participating in needs assessment to determine barriers and needed resources 
    • Assisting in the development of a service plan, including setting goals, objectives and time lines 
    • Willingness to sign an FSS Contract of Participation 
    • Willingness to follow through with your service plan 
    • Compliance with monitoring, evaluating and ongoing assessment of your service plan
