Reporting Fraud
The goal of the Compliance & Fraud Department is to promote integrity, efficiency and effectiveness within the Rochester Housing Authority’s subsidized housing programs. This includes preventing, detecting and prosecuting fraud and abuse. With the assistance of anonymous tips and fraud referrals, the Compliance staff strives to effectively achieve these goals.
Our hotline service allows you to submit fraud alerts online. If you would like to report someone you feel is committing housing fraud, simply complete the form below and click "Submit". Your report will quickly and discreetly be reviewed and appropriately handled. All reports are confidential and you are assured anonymity when you request it.
You may also report fraud via the telephone by placing a call to (585) 328-0980, or send your concern via email at: gro.gnisuohretsehcor@duarftroper. Please provide as much information as possible so that we may accurately identify the parties involved. Helpful information includes:
** Participant's name
** Address
** Social Security Number
** Date of birth
** Pertinent information relative to the alleged fraud
RHA reserves the right to act or not to act on any information provided unless required by law. RHA is not required to disclose its response or actions taken relevant to information that may be provided or reported. The intentional misreporting of information may be subject to criminal investigation.
